Every so often I'd like to highlight an Etsy store that particularly captures my interest. I'm going to start with thebeadlily, whose idea behind the shop is that 'May you find something you can't live without and may all your dreams come true.'

Prices vary, so her items suit every pocket. My current favourite is the earrings above, which price in at a very reasonable $15
I'm also fond of the wonderfully titled 'Grow a Backbone' necklace, made using fish vertabrae (yes, that's right!). It's priced at $20.
Innovative, and imaginative, thebeadedlily is on my favourites list. How about yours?

Ah, yet another blog! I'm an old user of Livejournal, but I thought that setting up here would be a good move to promote my jewellery and talk about my writing.

Just to start, here is my store. It's called Benediction. I make one-off pieces of jewellery using a myriad of beads, charms, findings, chain, and other found objects. I believe in turning abandoned jewellery into magical new pieces by taking them apart and incorporating the individual pieces into new items. Recycling helps the world, and it gives new life to old things!

The image above is one of my necklaces. It's called 'Beetle Wings' because of the glorious colour of the stones. I have a store -wide sale for Christmas, with 10% off all items until Xmas Eve. In addition, each week I will choose an item and take another $5 off! All items will be wrapped well in either a gift box or gift bag. Perfect for giving away!
